What is Mineral Makeup?
It is a powder makeup made of finely milled minerals. It provides a sheer to heavy coverage, depending on application. Mineral Makeup allows natural skin radiance to show through and will not give you a masked look. Makeup Junky Mineral Makeup is free of fragrance, preservatives, and other known irritants. Minerals cannot feed bacteria, so there is no need for preservatives of any kind. It is good for oily skin because it has several oil-absorbing components.
What are the Ingredients In Makeup Junky Mineral Makeup?
Titanium Dioxide: A white natural sunscreen and anti-inflammatory agent. It is highly reflective and thus helps to minimize fine lines and some skin discolorations. It provides excellent coverage for foundations as well as non-irritating, full spectrum sun shield.
Zinc Oxide: A natural sunscreen providing broad spectrum UVA/UVB protection. It offers whitening power, coverage, and adhesion
Serecite: A colorless Mica. Also works as an oil absorber.
Kaolin Clay: This pure, white, natural clay offers adhesion to our
cosmetic products. Kaolin clay also provides excellent shine control.
Mica: It is an almost colorless mineral that occurs naturally in the Earth's surface.
Iron Oxides: Natural pigment that is very opaque. It is used for tinting cosmetics.
Silica: Is oil absorbent and improves "slip" (how the product feels going on). Because of the spherical shape of the silicas, they also help to scatter light and blur the look of fine lines and wrinkles.
Ferric Ferrocyanide: This is an inorganic pigment that gives blue tones
to natural mineral pigments.
